Allman Brothers celebrating 40 years on the road
The Allman Brothers Band recently extended its 40th Anniversary trek, which now keeps them on the road through the fall on their “40 Years of Highs & Lows” tour.
The outing kicked off May 12th and covered the West Coast - their first time in the West in four years. The trek also included the band’s annual 15-night Beacon Theatre residence in New York City, as well as a number of stops in the South.
The next leg of the tour begins August 9th in New Jersey, and will find the band traveling primarily on the East Coast through October, as well as a few additional stops in the South.
The jam band is NOT celebrating 40 in a small way. In the first leg of the tour, the entertained guests such as The Dead, The Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty, Bruce Willis and Susan Tedeschi - you never know what to expect at their concerts!
Check out the tour schedule for second leg of their tour below.
