Moogis Offers Fans Exclusive Live Footage
Moogis is the brainchild of Allman Brothers Band member, Butch Trucks. The site is an online music community that offers subscribers live streaming and archived HD video.
Moogis was launched last year to accompany The Allman Brothers Band 40th Anniversary Beacon Theatre performances. To prepare for the launch, the Beacon Theatre was equipped with several HD cameras, which operate both remotely and by cameramen. Each show had a director and crew that composed the footage as it streamed live on Moogis.com.
Butch was hoping to create an online venue that gave music fans content and community that was worth paying for. Moogis offers video streaming at speeds of 564k or 1000k. The video quality is of HD standard, something that is very rare to find for online video, and offers little to no buffer time.
Currently Moogis offers live footage from various Allman Brothers Band performances. The most recent offering will be the upcoming Wanne Music Festival, April 16-17th at Spirit Of Suwannee Music Park in Oak, FL. For the future, Trucks is hoping to expand Moogis to the entire jam band scene and also create an avenue for up and coming talent. Stay tuned in with Moogis.com.
